I’ve been swooning over Monica Vinader‘s jewellery pieces for quite some time now, obsessing over each collection that appears, heart-eyes-ing at my favourite bloggers when I see them wearing them and instantly recognising an MV piece when printed within the pages of my favourite glossy mag. With every email that drops into my inbox, becoming more and more tempted to take the plunge but what do you do when you just want it all. I’m not joking either, I want it all.
Monica Vinader recently opened their fourth store in London; Covent Garden to be exact and I popped along to the opening to get a sneak peek at the store and of course learn and try on some of the staple styles.
First, let’s talk about the store. Offering visitors a homely, subdued feel with mirrored walls, vintage décor and extremely knowledgeable staff. Of course, the rose gold obsession continues throughout lined the mirrors, the display cabinets and even the incredible statement light fixtures.
Luxury doesn’t just mean 5* hotels, designer handbags and Michelin starred restaurants, luxury can simply be how an item makes you feel. The stunning array of customisable items on display from ring, necklaces and bracelets, all of which can be stacked and built up into a unique piece just for you, or you can even engrave an item to be completely bespoke to you. Little did I know, Monica Vinader has a men’s range so I’m thinking engraved cuff links for Mr C for our wedding day.
The latest ‘Siren’ collection features genuine gemstones in vibrant colours, stunning shapes and a range of sizes, there really is something for everyone; whether you prefer it dainty and petite or like to pack a punch with a big statement piece, maybe you like adding a bit of dazzle to your day with diamonds or dare to bling with one of their signature rings.
Knowing you are wearing a high quality piece of jewellery such as a Monica Vinader item can really make you hold your head up a little bit higher. Some of the items would be an investment in the wallet department but there are plenty of beautiful pieces to suit all budgets and some super sparkly stuff to splurge on too – serisouly, the struggle was real peeling myself away from a rose gold diamond necklace I’d seen to replace a similar one I’ve managed to get in a complete tangle.
One of the most popular items within the range is of course the ‘friendship bracelet’ – there is so much variation to choose from metal colour and style, strap colour and style, thickness, whether you want diamonds or not, you can have them engraved to so you can throw your personality right into this price of jewellery.
Next time your in London, pop in and take a look for yourselves – you might also get to take a selfie with the incredible rose gold taxis – remember, if you do spot them out in the city – Monica Vinader currently has a competition where you can win £3,000 worth of jewellery simply by tagging @MonicaVinader and using the hashtag #RoseGoldIsTheNewBlack on Instagram.
