Monday 25th September –
Back to the weekly grind, just a normal day at work so nothing really to report back on. I did go to meet my friend Hannah and little Leo after work for a cheeky Starbucks, catch up and she brought me her hoop to take with me for my wedding dress pickup.
Tuesday 26th September –
Tuesdays are always filled with TV in the evenings. I caught up on The Undateables before The Great British Bake Off and then Doctor Foster. The whole episode was just dull and obvious right up until the last 10 seconds which has drew me in and got me all excited for this weeks! Wonder if Simon will get his coffin after all…
Other than that, nothing exceptionally exciting happened. I made a Chicken Tikka Masala (complete with onion bhaji and samosa) for dinner and the house still has a slight scent of spices… any tips on how to get rid of the smell of curry, please leave me a comment!
Wednesday 27th September –
On Wednesday, I had my (not so) 15 minutes of fame! You may have seen, if you’d watched Don’t Tell the Bride on E4 that one of my tweets about the wedding was broadcast at the end of the show! If you missed it, I took a picture of it obviously. Form an orderly queue for autographs guys…
Thursday 28th September –
I headed into London to attend the Technology for Marketing Expo for work. It was really informational and there are some amazing things out there. I met a robot that does your shopping for you, we don’t have a requirement for this in the office but I’ll be writing a business case for one nonetheless.
Friday was probably one of the best days I’ve had so far. I got to try on my wedding dress after it’s been made and I’ve been able to bring her home. I am so in love and can’t stop looking at the photos. Thanks for taking them Loren!
Loren and I then went to London (again!) to attend the NBN Event with Next where we had flatlay tips from Monica Beatrice and got to mingle with Lily Pebbles and The Anna Edit, standard.
Then it was on to the Brides Show with Conde Nast – the sole purpose was to go and meet my idol, Lydia Millen, however she sadly got stuck on the Eurostar in the Channel Tunnel due to signalling issues and sent back to Calais. We were gutted!
Saturday 30th September –
No rest for the wicked, it was another early riser as Ben and I were off to Chester Racecourse for the day. I love the opportunity to get all dressed up and I was finally able to take my beautiful Chi Chi London dress out for a spin. I had a win on the last horse so I left happy, that could have been the countless glasses of G&T’s I consumed though…
Sunday 1st October –
A McDonalds breakfast is the only thing you can have for breakfast after a night out right? We headed to Cheshire Oaks before going home from Chester, I was about to part with some serious cash in Kurt Geiger (as always) only to be told that they didn’t have my size in any of the shoes I liked! I managed to pick up a bottle of Estée Lauder Modern Muse for £30 though so all was not lost.
We had ice cream and then drove the journey home to try and catch the second half of the Arsenal match.
