A little while back, I started talking to Harry from Lollys Sweet Treats who, after talking about a number of ideas, agreed to help me with one of mine. Harry gifted me with a wonderful Sweetie Hamper to use as a raffle prize for an event I was running at work for a well known charity.
When it arrived, I was absolutely amazed at the cuteness of the white wicker basket with accentuating black leather clasps to keep it shut. Perfect for a summer picnic or subtle enough to use as storage around the home, a dual purpose to this wonderful prize.
Filled to the brim with retro sweets in clear cellophane cones, labelled with a Lollys sticker and sealed with ribbon. It contained all sweets pink such as strawberry bon bons, flying saucers, flumps, plama violets, jelly love hearts… you name it. It was delectably beautiful and I kinda wanted to fix the raffle so I could win.
When I took it around the office, the interest was ridiculously high. A number of people paid in just to win the hamper itself as it was super cute. A number of people wanted to win it for their children and a few for their partners, proving that this is a wonderful all rounder gift. We raised just shy of £500 the day this went around with the raffle ticket book.
EVERYONE wanted to win this lovely hamper and who can blame them. It certainly was a brilliant prize to win, I believe it was valued at £30 which I know a number of people said ‘is an absolute steal for something as good as that!’
It would make the perfect prize for any upcoming events, the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, christmas’s or just because as they are really sweet (pun intended!).
There are a number of varieties on the Lolly’s Sweet Treats website and I know Harry is very keen to keep on trend with the seasons and public holidays so you bet when Halloween creeps up on us there will be a Spooky Sweetie Hamper – a great alternative to buying in from the supermarket when you can present this at the door for your Trick’n’Treaters to choose from.
*this hamper was gifted to me by the company in return for a mention across my social media platforms & in aid to help alongside the charity raffle I organised.
