Beautified by Benefit | John Lewis, Nottingham

Saturday 26th March saw the launch of the new Hoola range for Benefit and you can bet that I was the first one there. After a conversation with the very lovely and very beautiful Jo from the Benefit team on the 2nd Floor in John Lewis, Nottingham, I headed along for a makeover to test out the new products and of course to get my brows done (just with the Browzings as they don’t have a Brow Bar… yet ;)) Of course, you couldn’t celebrate a Hoola launch without a Hawaiian theme and a giant inflatable palm tree…

Jo showed me the new range as well as her ‘uniform’ which can you believe it, consisted of one tanned arm using the new Hoola Tanning products and one natural arm to show you the difference and of course the fact the tan was a gorgeous golden brown and streak free – AMAZING!

So, Jo went to work on my face, first a base of the Triple Performing Moisturiser to hydrate the skin, promote ultra radiance and is oil free (no more oil needed on this t-zone!) Then applied my brows using the Benefit Browzings, adding extra oomph with Gimme Brow and accentuating them with the new Shy Beam – again, AMAZING! Its basically High Beam but without the shimmer, so perfect for a day to day highlight and certainly perfect for helping to lift those brows!

Next up, my new favourite product, the Porefessional Matte Primer. It’s perfect for my oily skin meaning it takes away the shine and doesn’t clog up my pores – goodbye patchy makeup – it also allows the rest of your makeup stay put, it helps to create a super smooth base for the Oxygen Wow Foundation. Jo mixed my usual foundation of choice with the new Dew The Hoola liquid bronzer, to add a natural glow to the skin. A little sure goes a long way and it creates such a great colour considering how dark it comes out of the beautiful bronze bottle.

I am IN LOVE with this stuff, serisouly, it’s so good. The bottle is beyond beautiful too and would look incredible on my dresser at home. I can’t stress enough how lovely the colour it gives to your skin is.

Now, you can’t do the hoola without Hoola and that beautiful rosy colour, applied to the apples of my cheeks, it just brought the look together by adding a natural blush and a flawless finish.

All I needed was some lippy and I would be well on my way to world domination with thanks to my new killer look at the beauty bar. Prepare yourself for my before photo…

What is even better about Benefit in John Lewis is that they even do make up classes with the Benefit products, how cool is that?!

A huge thank you to the Benebabes at the Benefit counter in John Lewis, Nottingham. You were beautiful, knowledgable and did an amazing job! You can expect to see me back very soon!
